*
All students must posses a High School Diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.)
*
All students must show financial ability to pay all associated costs of the program.

Credit for Previous Training
Students wishing to receive recognition for previous training must show written proof to the director of the school. It is the right of the director to decide whether to give credit for previous training or not, and this decision is final.

Grants, Student Loans and Scholarships
The bodyConcepts Massage & Bodywork Institute does not award Grants or Scholarships at this time. We do honor grants and scholarships that our students have been awarded from outside organizations.

Leave of Absence Policy:

*
Students will be granted a leave of absence upon written request to the administrator.
*
The request must have a valid reason, including departure and return date.
*
If the leave of absence involves illness, injury or pregnancy, a doctor's note is required to continue the course before reentry.
*
If the leave of absence takes the student beyond the contracted course length, the student will be subjected to a new contract and a refund will be issued accordingly.
*
The student will meet with the Director in private in all cases of prolonged leave of absences.
*
The school will make every effort to assist students in meeting their educational needs.

Absences:

*
bodyConcepts records the daily attendance of each student in accordance with state guidelines. The attendance record will be kept on file and readily available for the students to review, as needed. Missing more than 20% of classes in given total course time, will constitute grounds for dismissal. Only allowed absences arising from medical reason with a doctor's not will be excused.
*
Total attendance required for graduation is 28.8 weeks (from a program total of 32 weeks) , or 90% attendance.

Class Cuts:

*
Hours lost due to cutting class will be recorded as an unexcused absence. It is a student's responsibility to make up time and class-work.
*
Students must make up time and any missing class-work/assignments to meet the minimum attendance requirements in order to graduate.

Make-up Policy:

There are three ways a student can make up tests and missed class-work and assignments:
1.
Sit-in another classes when any missed lesson(s) are offered.
2.
Seek tutorial guidance through sessions at $30 per hour.
3.
Set up a meeting with your instructor during his/her office hours.
